Parisian Stripe Cake

Even though I generally believe in the old advertising adage that there's nothing like the freedom of a tight brief, every now and then I love it when a client says "I don't know what I want, do whatever you like!"  In this instance, I chose to make a double-barreled chocolate cake with salted caramel buttercream, decorated in Parisian stripes with an "ormolu" plaque. Happy birthday to Tammy, Danielle and Krystal!
