Peony & Gold Sequin Ruffle Wedding Cake

I created this design for a wonderful couple celebrating their recent wedding in the UK with a dinner for American family and friends at the incomparable Inn of the Seventh Ray in Topanga Canyon.  I wanted to capture the rich tones of Fall, while keeping the mood elegant and uplifting. The bottom tier was chocolate cake with salted caramel, the middle tier was gluten-free pumpkin spice cake with cream cheese frosting, and the top tier was spiced apple cake with blackberry frosting.
