Welcome to my certified home kitchen in Newport Beach, California, where I bake custom cakes, cupcakes, brownies, cookies and brownie pops to order. With mouthwatering flavors such as Salted Caramel, Organic Lemon Curd, Tiramisu and Belgian Chocolate, my cakes stand out for the pleasure they give to eat, not just to behold. I bake everything from scratch with top quality, natural ingredients - I believe passionately in using the very best, such as organic eggs, unsalted butter, 70% dark Belgian chocolate and unbleached flour.
My cakes contain three or four layers of tender cake, filled with all-butter buttercream or cream cheese frostings. They are then coated with a layer of white or dark chocolate ganache in order for me to achieve a contemporary, sharp top-edge. Finally, my cakes are covered in delicious homemade fondant. (The only exception to this rule is in times of extreme heat or when covering carved cakes with a very uneven surface, in which cases I use the best tasting, most expensive, ready-made fondant there is: Carma Massa Ticino Tropic, specially imported from Switzerland.)
